5 Quick Tips To Improve Your Website

  1. You Need a Clear Call to Action. If there isn't an obvious button to click above the fold (without a visitor having to scroll), you are missing out on conversions. Don't confuse people with too many choices. You want them to take action (like sign up for your discovery call) or at least give you their email address so you can follow up later.
  2. Trade Value For an Email Address. News flash: no one wants to sign up for your newsletter... not even your mom. You need to offer something of value in exchange for a visitor to give up their email. A PDF, a cheatsheet, a mini-course, a free video, access to a webinar... something that will help solve a problem they are experiencing. 
  3. Use Fewer Words. Have you ever gone on a first date and the person just wouldn't stop talking? That's what it's like when you try to cram your entire life story onto the home page of your website. People will rarely read long blocks of text these days. Use big, bold headlines that are easy to read, then add a sentence or two in support of that idea. Get to the point then shut up!
  4. It's Not All About You. Guess what? People don't care about you, or your story, or your journey of how you became a Primal Health Coach. They care about themselves. Focus on how you can help them. Along those lines...
  5. Make It Clear What You Do. Remember... you don't sell coaching services. You sell solutions to the problems your clients are dealing with. Whether they need to lose weight, get in shape, get healthy... whatever it is... focus on communicating the results that you'll help them get when they hire you.
